World’s Largest Marine Reserves

Marine sanctuary THREE times the size of the UK is set up in the waters around a remote island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean to protect wildlife 

Tristan da Cunha, an island in the South Atlantic has been declared a marine nature reserve, the world’s fourth largest. The biodiverse area is only accessible by a six day boat trip from South Africa.
