Mysterious Object Lights up skies over Virginia Beach

Several 13News Now viewers contacted us about this strange light that lit up the skies over Virginia Beach around 5:30 Friday night. We’re still working to figure out what it might have been. NASA Wallops says it didn’t come from them, and we’re waiting to hear back from Oceana. One possibility: the military launched an Atlas 5 rocket from Cape Canaveral around this same time… so we’re seeing if it’s possible the object seen in Virginia actually came from Florida!
