The Solar Orbiter’s Extreme Ultraviolet Imager (EUI) instrument captured imagery of the sun over the last few years. The solar flares (blue circles) are shown using data from the spacecraft’s Spectrometer/Telescope for Imaging X-rays (STIX) instrument.
