Where does a piece of military hardware go when it’s no longer required? Well, there’s no short answer to that question. It might be recycled. It might be stored and used for parts. Very occasionally, it might even go into a museum. Surprisingly often, though, it will get completely abandoned forgotten – even if the object we’re talking about is an entire military base!
